‘Electric’, energy filled presentation today by Minister Stuart Robert at the AIIA Canberra Manager’s Forum MC’d by Greg Boorer. This rounded out AUCloud’s sponsorship support of the AIIA CMF events for 2019; and what a way to finish.
The Minister’s speech put customer service delivery front and centre of his Services Australia agenda, indeed he talked to ‘delighting’ Australian citizens with his (and his Portfolio Agencies) determination to make Government ‘digital’ service delivery smarter, faster and better. He talked too about working with industry, breaking down departmental silos and rethinking long standing (and increasingly out of date) funding models.
Importantly he stressed his desire to work with Australian businesses – music to the ears of many of the Canberra based SMEs in the room – and obviously AUCloud. An energetic and refreshing vision, clearly backed by his Departmental Heads Randall Brugeaud, Renée Leon and Martin Hoffman.
