Leading Australian sovereign cloud and cyber security solutions provider AUCloud has announced the appointment of Robert Ovens to the newly created position of Chief Product Officer.
In his position, Mr Ovens will be responsible for overseeing the development and continuous innovation of the company’s technology across cloud and cyber security solutions.
AUCloud CEO and Managing Director Peter Maloney shared that Ovens will be focused on driving business growth through the development of new product solutions and transformations.
“Robert will lead an expert team of professionals across product and engineering to develop and execute on a cohesive product strategy that aligns with our strategic business goals and meets the mission critical needs of our customers,” Mr Maloney said.

Robert Ovens is an experienced technology executive and leader with over 20 years of experience in various product technology leadership roles across different industries, including financial and legal technology, law enforcement, and consulting.
Prior to AUCloud, Ovens spent 8 years with leading global legal and financial technology outfit Dye & Durham where most recently he was the Australian Director of Software Engineering.
Ovens also spent 8 years at the Queensland Police, where he was Lead Software Engineer.
