AUCloud congratulates Cathie Reid AM on her appointment to the Government’s new Industry Advisory Committee on Cyber Security.
Cathie is the Chair of AUCloud, co-Founder of Icon Group and Managing Partner of Australia’s Epic Pharmacy Group.
Cathie joins Telstra CEO Andrew Penn, Chair of the Committee and members including nbn™ Australia’s chief security officer Darren Kane, Cyber Security CRC chief executive Rachael Falk and Northrop Grumman Australia chief executive Chris Deeble.
The Committee will play a key role in advising the government as it rolls out its cyber security strategy.
In 2015 Cathie was the 2015 inductee for the Australian Businesswomen’s Hall of Fame, named in the Top 100 Women of Influence by the AFR in 2013, won the National Telstra Business Women’s Award in 2011 and recognized by Monash University with a Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Achievement in 2012.
With her depth of experience in business – at operational, management and Board levels and her prominent reputation as a successful business leader, Cathie brings enormous practical insight into the critical importance of cyber security to businesses of all sizes.
