The Australian Cyber Security Awards honour outstanding individuals and businesses making significant contributions to the cyber security industry. These esteemed awards are distinguished for recognising individuals and businesses, rather than products and platforms, enabling the acknowledgment of all cyber security stakeholders in the industry – from defence, insurance, cloud services, and technology through to those working in STEM, consultancy, and ransomware protection.
AUCloud CEO Peter Maloney welcomed the news and said it was terrific recognition for the hard work of the entire AUCloud team. “Being acknowledged across six categories highlights our commitment to excellence and innovation in the cyber security industry. We are honoured to be named among the top contenders and look forward to continuing to deliver secure cloud and cyber security solutions to Australian organisations.”
“Over the last 12 months, we have rolled out new services to our suite of cyber security solutions, including our Managed Cyber Security Packages and Phishing Awareness Training. With the rise of cyber threats globally, AUCloud’s recognition for our contribution to the Australian cyber security sector reinforces the strength of our service and dedication to providing cost-effective and robust cyber protection solutions for the community.”
The finalist list, which was announced on Monday, 29 April 2024, features over 166 high-achieving professionals across 29 submission-based categories.
Liam Garman, Editor of Cyber Daily, said, “There’s never been a more important time to acknowledge those individuals and businesses who work tirelessly to keep Australians safe online. The data is clear: Australians are more at risk online than ever.”
“These awards are our opportunity to recognise the best and brightest in Australia’s cyber security industry, from in-house cyber professionals protecting Australia’s top businesses through to SMEs that are pushing the bounds of tech.”
Winners will be announced at the award ceremony on 20 June 2024 at the National Convention Centre Canberra.
